-
- That is what the press releases say at any rate. I am not sure a low end PPC
- amiga can be made for the price of an a1200. If not then it won't be low end
- and it would be silly to use a a1200 style case for a machine competing with
- high end Pentiums in 18 months.

- Commendable brand name loyalty there but that isn't the issue.
-
- You want an amiga, yes, exactly how much are you willing to pay for one?
- Considering this would be your first purchase of an amiga over $200 CDN.
-
- Like I said before, the 'a1300' could be great value but not at a high price.
- Our personal bias is towards a small efficient os that does the job, others may
- prefer something more polished and developed that does the job and more.
- (Almost MUI versus non-MUI taken cross platforms) If there is a significant
- savings to be made with going PC overall then they will, times are tight and
- nobody can afford to contribute to keeping the amiga on life support while it
- is in a coma.
-
- If AT can get dealers to offer a monthly payment schedule like many PC dealers
- it would give them more sales IMO. People don't mind spending more if it is
- distributed over time.
